A former Marine Corps Officer, Exegistics Founder and CEO Stephen Olds will share his expertise on tapping veterans as an alternative talent pipeline during an interactive day devoted to trending topics in supply chain management. Hosted by the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP), the event is slated for May 16, 2019, at the headquarters of FourKites, Inc. in Chicago.
Olds rose to the rank of Captain in the Marine Corp before launching a 25-year career in senior management, general management, and transformational roles leading startups, restarts and turnarounds. He credits deeply rooted military values within the Exegistics culture as a key component in the company’s growth and success as an industry leader in supply chain innovation.
In addition to Olds’ discussion topic, “Alternative Talent Pipelines: Exploring Veteran Talent,” other sessions during the day-long event will explore empowering women, and cultivating the next generation of supply chain leadership.
Since 1963, CSCMP has been providing networking, career development, and educational opportunities to the logistics and supply chain management community.
