Stephen Olds Named to Crain’s Chicago Business List of 2020 Notable Veteran Executives

Stephen Olds, Founder and CEO of Exegistics, is among 40 Chicago influencers named to the 2020 Notable Veteran Executives list, presented by Crain’s Chicago Business.

A former Marine Corps Officer, Olds founded Exegistics in 2008 as a third-party logistics (3PL) and supply chain company to support clients with innovative warehousing, transportation, and staffing solutions. Today, the Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) is transforming the industry by delivering value-added solutions that exceed the expectations of high-growth customers.

“It is an honor to be recognized by Crain’s and inspiring to see how many people are shining a light on veteran issues and working to create meaningful career opportunities for veterans,” said Olds. “Of course, there is still work to do, but we are making progress. And Crain’s is playing an important role by elevating this conversation in the business community.”

Among a number of initiatives, Olds spearheads an annual Veteran Careers Summit including global brands and featured panelists to help companies develop a veteran’s workplace program and create long-term career opportunities for success.

A frequent guest speaker on culture and veteran hiring best practices, Olds published an e-Book and video series for CEOs, HR executives, and Directors of Diversity & Inclusion to serve as a playbook for hiring. eBook
