As part of Exegistics core values, we believe that innovation comes from our teammates, so to recognize that we present the Lightbulb award once per quarter to the winning Innovation Idea. The Lightbulb award is given to the teammate whose idea created a measurable improvement in productivity, quality, service or safety.
The 2017 4th Quarter Lightbulb award was presented to Denise Brown last December. Denise’s idea was to implement an incentive program for automation scanners. Denise’s idea will improve productivity through healthy competition amongst scanners. As part of this award, Denise received $500 and a Lightbulb award t-shirt.
Each quarter, the general managers of our operations facilities nominate a teammate for their idea and present that idea to the management team. Each nominee receives a $100 gift certificate. From all the ideas presented in the 4th Quarter, Denise’s was selected because it presented the biggest Innovation Impact for our company. Her winning idea will be framed and displayed at all operations facilities.
