As 2019 comes successfully to a close, I wanted to reflect on the evolution of Exegistics, take stock of our accomplishments, and set the course for continued growth in 2020.
Celebrating our Growth
We’re pleased to expand our footprint into Indianapolis this year with the acquisition of Versant Supply Chain, an established staffing leader. We joined forces with their team and have brought additional resources to improve staffing even more, while continuing to serve high-growth customers with excellence.
We’ve also strengthened our supply chain capabilities through integrated warehousing and transportation solutions. Our Transportation Team supported over 25 customers with solutions that helped our clients reduce cost and improve service within their supply chains.
Spotlight on Innovation
We continue to uphold our culture of innovation by shining a light on employees who unlock innovative ideas that result in improvement and efficiencies throughout various departments. This year, Lightbulb Award recipients were Denise Brown and Lynda Mazur from our Chicago office and Valerie McClanahan from our North Vernon, Indiana, office. They created innovative process improvements that resulted in increased productivity and improved company morale. Denise, Lynda and Valerie are examples of employees that are helping us create the next best versions of our customers and ourselves. We’re honored to work alongside them.
Living our Values
For the second year in a row, we teamed up with a number of companies including Google and Walgreens and hosted a Veteran Careers Summit in July. We know that veterans succeed in logistics, manufacturing and transportation, because there’s no better training than the military. We were proud to help elevate the conversation around veteran hiring and more importantly, help companies deliver on their veteran hiring initiative. Milestones & Awards
Toyota Awarded Exegistics as one of five suppliers of the year awards. Exegistics was honored to receive their coveted Teamwork and Family Spirit Award; another nod to our culture and values. Congratulations to Chris Alcorn and our Toyota operations team!
For the third year running, Inc. Magazine ranked Exegistics on its annual Inc. 5000, the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. We’re honored to be included and it’s a testament to the growth we’ve sustained since starting the company in 2008.
